Wet Saturday Followed by Pleasant Dry Spell

So far this week has been wet for many across the state of Georgia, but I have some good news for y'all!
It does look like a  pleasant dry spell is coming next week. However, we are going to get more rain before it, and to be exact, I am expecting some rain showers across the state on Saturday.
Let us take a look at my projected setup for Sunday through Tuesday of next week.

According to this map, a block will setup over the Plains bringing up a heat ridge. Because of this block, dry air will be driven into the east, bringing sunshine and unfortunately, humidity and heat too. However, there will be showers on Saturday, but by Sunday, they will be driven away into Louisiana and Mississippi as shown above. However, by Wednesday or Thursday of next week, a cold front will arrive, and the showers and storms will be back!
I am expecting around 0.5 inches of rain as the most across Georgia on Saturday.
Stay tuned!
