Latest Severe Weather Reports Across Georgia

In the early afternoon, a line of storms formed in western Georgia, bringing some strong storms to Peachtree City, and now headed towards Macon. There were a coupe damaging wind reports out of Peachtree City, and one hail report.

Damaging Wind Reports:

  1. Thunderstorm wind damage reported 1 mile NNE of Peachtree City. Emergency Manager reported a tree blown down blocking Peachtree Parkway north of Highway 54.
  2. Thunderstorm wind damage 2 miles SSE of Peachtree City. Off duty NWS forecaster reported one tree snapped at the Kroger on Crosstown Boulevard.
Hail Reports:

  1. 0.75 inch sized hail was reported 1 mile WNW of Peachtree City. Off duty NWS forecaster reported penny-sized hail on Highway 74 at the golf cart bridge.
