Severe Weather Tomorrow

Isolated severe weather is expected tomorrow across the state of Georgia, besides the Northeast sector. Below is my forecast for it.
























The main threats will be:
  • Damaging Winds 60+ MPH
  • Nickel-Sized Hail
  • Lightning
  • Heavy Rain

Severe Thunderstorm Warning

A Severe Thunderstorm warning has just been issued for portions of Southwest Georgia, Southeast Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. It expires 7:45 PM.

Georgia Forecast 7/23/13

A Slight Risk of severe weather has been issued for most of Northwest and North-Central Georgia, including the west and north Atlanta metro. An upgrade to Severe Weather Action Day might be needed, if there will be demand for such. Below is my forecast for today's thunderstorm threats.

  • Severe  60+ MPH Wind Gusts
  • Nickel - Quarter Sized Hail
  • Localized Heavy Rain
  • Flash Flooding

**ANOTHER SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS DAY**

Once again, today is a Severe Weather Awareness Day, as violent storms to our west may bring an increased threat of thunderstorms today. However, unless the Storm Prediction Center changes something, a Severe Weather Action Day upgrade is not expected.
A map will come out later in the day.

**SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS DAY** New Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Today is another Severe Weather Awareness Day, because discrete cells and heavy rain to our west could both produce strong to  severe storms.

There is a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning, through 3:30 PM.
