Here is my forecast for rainfall totals tonight and tomorrow (Saturday). Except from 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain, depending on where you are. I would recommend cancelling outdoor plans for tomorrow.

Severe Threat Second Day in a Row

Portions of West Georgia is in a risk for severe thunderstorms again this afternoon. Threats are 60 MPH winds and isolated tornadoes with the strongest cells. Here is my forecast for this afternoon, valid until 9 PM. We will have you updated on all severe weather wordings, as we are still in Severe Weather Awareness Mode.

Slight Risk for Severe Weather

Second, we are looking at a major rain storm for our area combined with t-storms all the way through Tuesday. The SPC put our western counties in a Slight Risk of severe weather for tonight. Here is a map with the counties included:

We are now in severe weather awareness mode and all severe weather watches/warnings will be posted on our Facebook page as they come into the GA Weather Plus Forecast Center. 

I will have an update tonight with some maps perhaps for this rainstorm and possible severe storms for the next few days.
